B I O G R A P H Y EVERSEN: Henry Amos Eversen passed away in the Riverside Health Complex, Turtleford, Saskatchewan on Tuesday, January 18, 2005 at the age of 97 years. Henry is survived by: five children: Doris Eversen of Saskatoon; Don Eversen and his wife Anna of Spruce Lake; Edie and her husband Hank Veerenhuis of Mount Nebo; Les Eversen and his wife Jean of Livelong; Ralph Eversen and his wife Laverne of Vernon, BC; fourteen grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; one great great grandchild. Henry was predeceased by his wife Dolce Eversen in January of 1986, his parents, brothers, and sisters in Germany, infant grandson Darcy and daughter-in-law Sharon Eversen. The funeral service for Henry was conducted from the Livelong Community Hall, Livelong, Saskatchewan on Saturday, January 22, 2005 at 2:00 P.M. with Pastor Pat Ribey officiating. Hymns sung were "Rock of Ages," "In The Garden," and "Shall We Gather At The River," accompanied on the organ by Darlene Kivimaa. Honorary pallbearers were all of Henry's friends. Active pallbearers were: Ian McPhedran, Todd Smith, Garry Kaplar, Delon Bleakney, Corey van Zandbergen and Leo Millard. Interment followed in the Livelong Cemetery. McCaw Funeral Service Ltd., of Lloydminster administered the funeral arrangements. Card of Thanks We would like to express our thanks to Dr. Bates and Dr. Mulder at this time in addition to a very heartfelt thanks to the nursing staffs at Riverside Health Complex, BUH and St. Paul’s for their compassion and care. Thanks also to Pat Blais for his support and to Marshall Ambulance attendants for their kindness. Thanks to all the home care workers for their love and concern. We would like to thank Pastor Pat Ribey for her words of comfort at home and at the service. Thanks to Darlene Kivimaa for the music and also to the pallbearers. We would like to express our appreciation and thanks to the LADRA ladies for serving the lunch. Thank you to the seniors for allowing us to use their room at the complex. Thank you to all the staff at McCaw’s Funeral Home. We are grateful for your compassion and understanding. To all those who phoned, brought food, sent flowers and gave memorial donations, thank you.
