B I O G R A P H Y The funeral service for Katherine Wallis was conducted from St. John’s Anglican Church, Lloydminster on Thursday, November 25, 2004 at 2:00 P.M. with Reverend Canon David Turvey officiating. Katherine is survived by: her son Barry and his wife Angela Wallis of Lloydminster, AB and their family: Mark Wallis and his friend Renee` LaClare and his daughter Danica of Lloydminster; Wendy and Tony Zeiser of Marshall; her daughter Brenda and her husband Doug Bourdon of Fort St. John, BC and their family: Dean and Sara Johnson, Gareth and Anneke of Grande Prairie; Lee and Marlene Johnson, Lori and William of Fort St. John, BC; her daughter-in-law June of Lloydminster, SK and family: Carla and Percy Wyse, Clarke and Charles of Bedford, Halifax; Linda Wallis and Ashley Leavitt of Brooks, AB; Kathy and Derald Fisher, Natasha and Cody of Kimberly, BC. Katherine was predeceased by her husband Charles Marsden Wallis and her son Gordon Wallis. The eulogy was given by Dean Johnson and a tribute was given by Linda Wallis. The hymns sung were “In The Garden,” and “Beyond The Sunset,” accompanied on the organ by Pat Skinner. Special music was "The Last Farewell." The pallbearers were her nephews: Grant Callfas, Warren Callfas, Jim Wack, Rick Wack, Brian Wack and John Wack. A lunch followed in the church hall and then interment at Northminster Cemetery. McCaw Funeral Service Ltd., of Lloydminster administered the funeral arrangements. Card of Thanks The Wallis family would like to thank Canon David Turvey for doing the service, Dean Johnson for the eulogy, Linda Wallis for the tribute, Pat Skinner for playing the organ and the ladies of the Anglican Church for the lunch. The family would also like to thank the pallbearers. A special thank you to everyone who made contributions, sent flowers, made phone calls and visited. Thank you to McCaw Funeral Service Ltd. for the funeral arrangements, and especially to Glenn for the personal attention received by the family. Donations may be made to The Multiple Sclerosis Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
