KONDRO: Marlene Mary Kondro passed away in the Stony Plain Hospital on Saturday, September 18, 2004 at the age of 63 years. Marlene is survived by: three children: Lynne and her husband Rick Ramsay of Calgary and their children Joel and Josh; Susan and her husband William Weinmeier of Spruce Grove and their children Cole and Trey; Brent Kondro and his wife Lisa Balsillie of St. Albert; her mother Minnie Fink of Paradise Hill; two sisters: Diane and her husband Jack Briscoe of Sherwood Park and Patty Fink of Calgary; her brother Ken Fink and his wife Margaret of Paradise Hill as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Marlene was predeceased by: her father Joseph Fink and her sister Louise Griffith. A memorial service for Marlene was held on Thursday, September 23, 2004 at 11:00 A.M. from St. Anthony's Roman Catholic Church, Lloydminster with Father Adam Lech officiating. A eulogy was given by Jack Briscoe. Marlene Risling sung the hymns;"Be Not Afraid," "On Eagle's Wings," "Ave Maria," and "Amazing Grace," accompanied by Donna Weston on the piano. "To Where You Are," by Josh Groban was also played. Honorary pallbearers were: Rick Ramsay, William Weinmeier, Lisa Balsillie, Gerry Quinlan and Nancy Quinlan. The family would like to thank everyone for their thoughts, prayers and support during this time. Memorial contributions can made to the Canadian Cancer Society. McCaw Funeral Service Ltd., of Lloydminster administered the funeral arrangements.
