Grant James Wightman passed away near Marsden, Saskatchewan on Saturday, November 12, 2016 at the age of 73 years. Grant leaves to mourn his wife of 37 years, Sandra; his daughter, Luanne and her children Lily and Lachlan; his son, Curtis (Rachel) and their children Augustus, Roy, Amos and Clara; his sisters, Sandra (Tony) Allen, and Lois Myer; his brother, Fred (Brenda) Wightman and numerous family and friends. The Funeral Service for Grant was conducted from the Neilburg Hall, Neilburg, Saskatchewan on Friday, November 18, 2016 at 1:00 PM with Fred Sirett officiating. The eulogy was given by Jason and Bryce Allen. The music for the service was lead by Brian Graham, Hazel Wiens and Cliff Scott. Interment was held in the Wycollar Cemetery. The reception was held in the Neilburg Hall, Neilburg, Saskatchewan. Donations in memory of Grant may be made to the Neilburg Recreation Board or Charity of Choice. "The Wightman family would like to extend our sincerest gratitude for the astonishing level of support and love they have received since Grants passing. For all the meals brought to the house, prayers sent up on our behalf and for the work that went into the service by our amazing community, we have been sustained by you. God bless".
