Obituary of John Barton

John Varley Barton, passed away on Friday, August 18, 2017 at the Lloydminster Continuing Care Centre.

John leaves to mourn his passing, his wife of 60 years, Sheila Barton (Curtis). His childern, Curtis Barton of Lloydminster, Crystal & Gary Vandenbroek of Edmonton, Trent & Rhonda Barton of Lloydminster. Four Grandchildren and Six Great-Grandchildren - Johnathon& Lynelle Barton and their children, Harley, Tyrell, Brett and Brooke of Vermilion, Kiefer & Shauna Vandenbroek of Edmonton, Ashley & Weldon Daley and their children, Leighton and Nyxen of Lloydminster, Kale Vandenbroek & Ryan Duncan of Calgary, his sister Pat Mitchell of Edmonton, his sister-in law, Bonnie Gordy, brothers-in-laws, Wilf & Linda Curtis of Lloydminster, Leslie & Donna Curtis of Lacombe, and Neil & Karen of Meadow Lake, as well as numerous nieces and nephews and many many family friends.

Please join the family in a Celebration of His Life, on Friday August 25 at 1:00 PM, at the Lloydminster Legacy Centre 5101 – 46 Street, Lloydminster, Alberta.

Private family interment will be held at a later date.
