I worked at Jacks Dairy Freeze for 2 summers when I lived in Lloyd. My cousin and several friends also worked there over the years. It was very hard work and you were expected to preform. They kept us hopping. Jack was nice to work for.He was a good man.

I remember Mr Allen fondly. He was always so nice doing KFC deliveries and I was really sad to hear he passed away.

I was saddened to hear of the passing of Jack. He hired me to work at Allen's Dairy Freez for two summers in the early 1980s. (The first time, sight-unseen - my mom pitched him for me to be given a position) He was a terrific person to work for - a great Christian leader and a terrific Christian example. (obviously, this applies to his precious wife Elaine, also) His empathy and care for his employees was legendary - he treated us more like family than employees. I have many, many fond memories of my time with Jack and at the Freez. He was a very special man who will be truly missed.
