Obituary of Kyndra Joy Chief
Kyndra Joy Chief was born in Lloydminster, SK on January 8, 1991.
When Kyndra was 3 months old, Mom, asked Ina if she could raise her. Ina agreed. From there, Warren spoiled her, his baby girl.
Kyndra grew up as a tom boy. She enjoyed playing with toy trucks in the dirt as a child. She also enjoyed quad rallys, playing sports in school, snowmobiling, traditional Indian relays, jigging and dancing.
Kyndra graduated from Eagleview in 2009. Soon after, she achieved her Early Childhood Certificate and worked various jobs. She met Ben in Highschool and together they had Mya. Later, she extended her family with Ron. Together, they were blessed with 3 little ones. As a mother, Kyndra always tried to be the best mom for her babies. They were her everything.
Although Kyndra was raised by Mom, it was important for her to know her biological siblings. She immediately grew a bond with them. Family was everything to her.
Kyndra had a humorous nature. She enjoyed making people laugh, but she had a sensitive side to her as well. She was always a peacekeeper, trying to have family gatherings. Kyndra loved watching her favorite team, the OILERS. When they were playing, you’d surely know if they were losing or winning.
After Mom passed, Kyndra grieved deeply and was lost without her. We will always remember Kyndra.
She is survived by: her children, Mya Carter, Chloe Harper and her twins, Sophia and Noah Harper; dad, Warren Baptiste; sisters, Tracy Heathen (Trevor), Tanya Chief (Blair) Dagen (Glynis) and Kelly; her biological mother, Ina Chief (Boyd); siblings, Dawn (Chris) Delaney, Brittany, Kira (Jared), Marvin Jr. and Shadaine; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.
Kyndra was predeceased by: her mom, Brenda Chief (2021); her grandfather, Thomas Chief (1988), Annie Chief (2012), Bill Peechow (2012), Annie Stanley (2009) and her highschool sweetheart, Ben Carter.
