Sherry, Diane, Duane and Neil,
"Mr. Davies" as I knew him growing up, taught us many things- how to waterski, snowmobile, and tips on how to catch walleye.
He had a knack for finding great value travel destinations which he shared with us.
He showed us pictures of BIG FISH in some Northern Sask lakes but we couldn't find his exact "honey holes".
We had lots of fun anyway.
As others mentioned, "the circle" was a great place to grow up and each Christmas season Harvey would leave a little "cheer" wrapped up "From the Mayor"
A life well lived.
Take care.

Sherry, Diane, Duane, and Neil,
With sincere sympathy on the passing of your Dad. I have so many wonderful memories of my 30 years being neighbors in "the circle". From the time we bought our lot your folks were hospitable and caring. There was no better place to raise our 4 boys than in the cul-de-sac. Hundreds of weekend card games, happy hours on the patio, sessions at the lake, were just a few of the memories I treasure.
Job well done Harvey! Rest in peace.
Sheila Griffith

Our Deepest Condolences go out to the entire Davies family. Mom and Dad bought the house that Harvey and Shirley first had in the crescent until they built their new one. We were raised in that crescent and grew up with the Davies Family as well as the Rayner's, Brost's, Kiss's, Day's, Gamble's etc. Such great memories growing up there. Harvey was well known and regarded as the Mayor of the Crescent on 50th A Ave. As kids we all got along and so did all the parents. No better place to grow up
Take Care of Each Other

Our deepest condolences to the Davies family. We loved both of your parents as our neighbours, we bought the Brost house in 2005 and love living here. We miss all of the neighbours we had when we moved in. Your Dad always had lots of great topics of great conversation and great advise too. We miss them dearly and cherish the memories we had with them both.

My condolences goto the Davies family, Harvey and Shirley were very good friends. Shirley and I walked many days a week at bud miller park and had coffee weekly. They took me on a couple trips to there camp in site in the states. Harvey kept in touch with his interesting and informative e mails. It was always good to hear from him. He will be missed.

We were lucky to have shared a special friendship with both Harvey and Shirley. We spent many winters in their company. Starting in Oasis Palms and then following them to Happy Wander. My husband rode bikes with Harvey. We helped serve pancakes. After my husband passed away, Harvey has been so good to keep in touch. He will be missed. Allison Steele
