It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Harvey Laumbach who left us on Thursday morning, March 27, 2025 at the age of 83 years. He was surrounded by the constant care, love and affection of his wife and family. Harvey's final days were filled with the same warmth that he gave throughout his life.

He will be lovingly remembered by his devoted wife of 59 years, Darlene; and their three sons, Kevin  of Sherwood Park and his girlfriend, Donna Richard, Kirby (Erin) of Lloydminster and Kerwin (Jan) of Lloydminster. He also leaves behind: one cherished grandson, Jordan; four beautiful granddaughters, Kaylee, Madison, Harper and Nikki - all of whom were so precious in his life; brother, George (Denise) Laumbach of Wainwright; sisters, Corliss Larson of Spruce Grove and Elsie Gilchrist of Sherwood Park.

Harvey was predeceased by his parents, Edward and Anna Laumbach.

A man of deep Christian faith, Harvey lived his life with strong values and morals, guided by kindness, integrity and compassion. In his final days, his family took comfort in knowing he was ready to go home to be with his Lord and Savior. With unwavering faith, Harvey expressed his desire to be at peace in heaven, leaving his loved ones with the assurance that he is now safely in the arms of Jesus.

A true outdoorsman at heart, Harvey found joy and purpose in nature. His lifelong career in carpentry showcased his dedication to his craft and his pursuit of perfection in all that he set out to do. His passion for hunting, particularly for birds, with a special fondness for purple martins, brought him endless enjoyment. He also loved fishing and camping, creating countless memories with his family and friends under open skies.

Harvey's legacy is one of faith, hard work, and devotion-to his family, his craft and his values. His unwavering commitment to excellence and his love for those closest to him will remain an enduring inspiration.

He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

The Funeral Service for Harvey will be conducted from McCaw Funeral Chapel, Lloydminster, AB on Thursday, April 3, 2025 at 2:00 pm. If you are unable to attend in person, you may view the live streaming of the service posted on McCaw Funeral Service website under Harvey's obituary.

Donations in memory of Harvey may be made to Kidney Foundation or donor's charity of choice.
