Uncle Neil pulled out all the stops the last time we visited him on the farm, and my kids will never forget riding in the biggest tractor they'd ever seen, driving on the road in the back of Uncle Neil's truck, riding the quad bike in the yard, exploring the veg patch and having a bbq by the house.
Uncle Neil made the best cherry wine I'd ever tasted.
As a kid I remember the smell of his pipe smoke, and how, when playing beach volleyball on the nintendo, you just had to 'roll your thumb like this' to make it work.
Condolences to friends and family - Uncle Neil you'll be missed!
