Obituary of Margaret Noyes

Margaret Mary Noyes passed away at Lloydminster Hospital, Lloydminster, SK on April 1, 2025 at the age of 95 years.

Margaret loved life, brought joy and light to family and friends old and new. She enjoyed living an active, full life. As a farm girl, she learned to be independent, practical and a hard worker. Farming and animals remained close to Margaret’s heart throughout her life. She cherished all the family time and memories at the lake each summer. Margaret will be missed for her kindness, huge heart, love for music and most of all the love she had for family.

Margaret will be lovingly remembered by: her children, son, Robert S. "Bob" (Deb) Noyes; daughter, Lorraine Jane (Ron) MacDougall and their children: Laird and Logan; son, Dennis (Diana) Noyes and their children: Kylie (Terry) Sokalofsky, Lauren (Ryan) Turner and Landon Noyes; daughter, Cyndy (Michael) Mercier and their children: Leah and John; son, Greg Noyes; great-grandchildren, Emery and Rhett Sokalofsky, Zachary and Marek Turner; sister, Helen Lacoursiere; brother, Steven Petrovich; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Margaret was predeceased by: her husband, Robert Duncannon "Bob" Noyes; and her parents, Steven and Helen Petrovich.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Anthony's Roman Catholic Church, Friday, May 2, 2025 at 2:00 PM.

Memorial donations may be made to Heart and Stoke Foundation, Canadian Cancer Society or donor’s charity of choice.
