Bonnie and family , We are so privileged to have had times to meet Darcy. So fun loving but so caring too as we spent time in his presence at the Special O bowling. We will always remember the cowboy.

If there was something I looked forward to back in the Border Bowl days, it was seeing Darcy every Monday for Special Olympics. He was always quick to put a smile on my face and knew how to make anyone laugh. For ages, the Special O crew struggled to say my name until one day, he saw a shirt I wore and coined the nickname "Bacon Strips" for me. It was a hit. He was always sure to tell me I was his favourite coach and while I never said it, he was one of my favourites to coach. Rest in peace, Darcy. ❤️

Anytime I ran into Darcy. I always went away feeling better as he shared his happiness about Life in general. RIP buddy.

Our deepest sympathies to all of the family. Darcy was a bright spot in Turtleford, always ready for a visit or to lend a hand. He was a truly lovely person and will be missed by the many people who had the opportunity to meet him.
