Obituary of Sarah Ribey
It is with profound sadness and broken hearts that we share the passing of Sarah Ribey, who left us far too soon at the age of 18.
Sarah was a gentle, creative soul whose compassion touched everyone she met. A talented artist and proud member of the Art Club at Lloydminster Comprehensive High School, she expressed her vibrant spirit through her artwork. Her love for animals led her to frequently support the Lloydminster SPCA—bringing food, comfort and care to animals in need.
Sarah also had a special connection with children. She was a trusted and beloved babysitter, often spending her weekends helping young families in the community. Her patience, warmth, and kindness made her a natural with kids, and they adored her in return.
Sarah is survived by: her loving parents, Stuart and Coleen Ribey; brother, Colin, who will always carry her memory in their hearts; aunts and uncles, Heather (Trevor) Burns and cousins, Gregson Eagle and Matthew Eagle, Grant (Angela) Ribey, Amber Leigh (Matt) Atkins, Cameron Ribey (Alexis), Emily Ribey (Ethan), Lorrain (Rene) Lavoie; cousins, Rebecca (Court) Lavoie and Megan (Ben) Egger and Laura (Landon) Lavoie and Ian Lavoie; grandmothers, Pat Burns and Pat Ribey; and grandfather, Robert Burns (Karen Anthony Burns).
Sarah was predeceased by her: Grandpa, Charles Ribey.
A Private Family Service will be held at a later date.
