Obituary of Irven Pilling

Irven Lloyd Pilling passed away at Riverside Health Complex, Turtleford, SK on June 1, 2025 at the age of 89 years.

Irven is survived by: his daughters, Starla (Rick) Denny and Sherry McDonald; son, Brent (Jeanette) Pilling; grandchildren, Robert Denny (friend, Heather), Christina Denny (friend, Jason), Stephen Pilling (friend, Tammy), Craig Pilling, Jamey Pilling (friend, Scott), Justin (Shelby) McDonald, Austin McDonald (friend, Tori), Tristin (Jordyn) McDonald and Karstin McDonald (friend, Kassi); great-grandchildren, Jordan Rhode, Christopher Rhode (friend, Emily), Jessie Denny, Ceanna Rhode, Parker Denny (friend, Brooke), Mason Denny, Kolby Carlson, Berkley Carlson, Flora Mcdonald and Thatcher McDonald.

Irven is also survived by: his sister, Reta (Albert) Rose, brothers; Joe (Carol) Pilling, Ken (Rose) Pilling and Leland (Marlene) Pilling; sister-in-law, Georgina Pilling, brother-in-law, Einar Jorgenson; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Irven was predeceased by: his loving wife of 65 years, Adella Pilling; son-in-law, Blair McDonald; parents, Henry and Lyla Pilling; sisters, Thelma Matthews, Elsie Maynard and Lyla Jorgenson; brothers, George (Gloria) Pilling and Clarence Pilling; nieces, Donna Maynard and Penny Pilling; nephews, Kody Pilling and John and Dale Mathews.

The Memorial Service for Irven will be conducted from Livelong Hall, Livelong, SK on Saturday, June 7, 2025 at 11:00 am. If you are unable to attend in person, you may view the live streaming of the service posted on McCaw Funeral Service website under Irven's obituary.

Donations in memory of Irven may be made to Riverside Health Complex.
