Obituary of Julie Reid

Julie Anne Marie Reid passed away in Edmonton, AB on June 3, 2025 at the age of 44 years.

Julie is survived by: her parents, John (Karen) Reid and Suzanne Dargis; daughter, Hailey Reitberger; son, Brayden Reitberger; granddaughters, Malina Alvarez-Genao, Zoey Alvarez-Genao, Mai Alvarez-Genao; brother, John Reid; sisters, Teresa (Mike) Reid, Cassie Reid and Tori Reid; uncle, Raymond Dargis; aunt, Dianne Dargis; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service for Julie will be held on Friday, June 20, 2025 at 2:00 PM at McCaw Funeral Service Ltd, 5101 50 Street, Lloydminster, AB. Those who knew and loved Julie are welcome to gather in remembrance to honor her life and to offer comfort and support to one another. Her memory will remain in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to share in her life.

For those unable to attend the Memorial Service in June, a Celebration of Life will be held on August 1, 2025 in honor of what would have been Julie’s 45th birthday. This gathering will offer an opportunity to remember her in a more personal and joyful setting, surrounded by the love of friends and family. All are welcome to join in sharing memories, stories and the lasting impact Julie had on our lives.
