Flora Ethel MacDonald was born on July 2, 1955 to Christina and John George MacDonald. She was the fourth oldest of twelve children and grew up in Onion Lake, Saskatchewan. Flora was a beloved daughter, sister, mother, aunt, Kokom, Capan, and friend. She lived her life with strength, deep love, and a heart full of laughter. Her joyful spirit and the sound of her laughter brought light into every room, and comfort to those around her. Her family will forever cherish Flora’s memory and all who loved her. Our sister, mother, Kokom, capan, niece, and friend. It brings comfort knowing she is in the arms of her parents and of all whom she loved in the spirit world. We are sure her parents are rejoicing in having their daughter in their arms once again.

Flora is predeceased by: her parents, John George (1995), Christina (2018); her siblings, Christopher (1974), Ronnie (1973), Crystal (2021); son, Christopher John Mackenzie “Mac” Whitstone (2014); granddaughter, Cara Lee Whitstone (2000); and grandson, Corban Whitstone (2017). 

She leaves to mourn her passing: her children, Ronnie MacDonald, Conway Whitstone, Claire Whitstone, Carson Whitstone, Valance Whitstone (Chantelle), Shawna Whitstone, Shayla Whitstone; her siblings, Angus MacDonald (Gloria), Raymond MacDonald, Gavin MacDonald, Linda MacDonald, Charlotte MacDonald (Erwin), Buffy Opissinow, and Delores Chief (Fitz); as well as numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
