Edward Ernest Krucik passed away at Lloydminster Hospital, Lloydminster, Saskatchewan on July 26, 2025 at the age of 90 years.
Ed grew up in the Lloydminster area with his mother, Mary and sister, Florence. He spent many years farming and working for Husky Oil, but his first loves were flying his airplane, playing his guitar, cooking and sharing a laugh with good friends and family. Ed was very quick witted, never short on words and even a bit of a smartass. He was stubborn, but would also admit when he was wrong. He was always thankful and appreciative for the smallest things/acts of kindness bestowed on him. Ed had a great sense of humour and was a really good friend, uncle, brother and son. He lived a full life and will be missed by all.
Edward is survived by: his sister, Florence Maryniak; niece, Debra Maryniak; nephews, Tim (Gerilyn) Maryniak and Gerald Maryniak; honourary daughter, Amelia Moorehead; and numerous lifelong friends, great-nieces and great-nephew.
Edward is predeceased by: his parents, Mary and Walter; and brother-in-law, Joseph Maryniak.
The Funeral Service for Edward will be conducted from McCaw Funeral Chapel, Lloydminster, Alberta on Wednesday, August 6, 2025 at 1:00 PM.
Donations in memory of Edward may be made to Diabetes Canada.
