Douglas Abel passed away in Lloydminster, AB on October 6, 2025 at the age of 37 years.

Douglas is survived by: his parents, Rosemarie and Mike Abel; sister, Lee Abel; brothers, Howard (Candi) Abel, Levi Abel, Michael Abel and Catlin Abel; half-brothers, Robert and Ryan Favel; nephew, Kylan; niece, Oaklynn Abel; children, Joshua Schonhofer and Nova Pederson; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Douglas is predeceased by: his father, Douglas Favel; and nephew, Rylan Mark Abel.

The Funeral Service for Douglas will be conducted from Moose Lodge, Lloydminster, AB on Thursday, October 16, 2025 at 9:00 AM.
