Buelah Groenewoud passed away at Leduc Community Hospital, Leduc, Alberta on November 2, 2025 at the age of 97 years.

Buelah is survived by: her daughter, Connie (Terry) Hopkins, and their children, Melissa, Daniel and Michelle; son, Tony Leon (Donna) Groenewoud, and their children, Sara, Amanda, Brandy, Amber, and Brenda Lee; daughter, Deborah Groenewoud; great-grandchildren, Serafina, Santiago, Hayden, Edmund, Ava and Raylen; and numerous nephews and nieces, along with many close and dear friends. 

Buelah was predeceased by: her loving husband, Louw; siblings, Helen, Audrey, Irene, Bill and Ben; and parents, Lloyd and Edith Petch. 

The Memorial Service for Buelah will be held at Mervin Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness, Mervin, SK on Friday, November 21, 2025 at 2:00 PM. If you are unable to attend the service a Zoom link is provided to view at the time of service below.
