It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Allan Emil Monasterski on October 29, 2025, at the age of 75. Strong-willed and steadfast to the end, Allan will be remembered for his loyalty, his big personality, and his lifelong love of farming. The land brought him immense joy, and nothing pleased him more than a hard day’s work followed by a quiet drive in one of his beloved Ford trucks.

A skilled carpenter and handyman, Allan took great pride in his work and was always ready to lend a helping hand. 

Allan was predeceased by: his parents, Marion and Victor.

He is remembered by: his children, Chase Monasterski and Kristen Vekved; and mother to his children, Phillis.

The Memorial Mass will be held Monday, December 1, 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Descent of the Holy Spirit Ukrainian Catholic Church, Lloydminster, Alberta.

Donations in memory of Allan may be made to the Descent of the Holy Spirit Parish, Lloydminster, AB.
