Byran Jason Chief was born on January 04,1974 at Paradise Hill, SK to Jeanette Chief and his father Gary Dillon.
Byran was raised by his grandparents, Mosom Edward and Kokom Alice Chief. He was the luckiest to be spoiled from them. Byron left Onion Lake after the passing of our Kokom and moved to Maskwacis, where he gained another family, Dolphus & Josephine Buffalo.
He made a lot of good friends and still remained close to a lot at Maskwacis. Byran was a brother, a friend to all and an Uncle to many. He was a loving, caring gentleman with a big heart.
There was always a big smile on his face and his handshake to anyone would lead to a new friendship, it didn’t matter who it was. Byron loved his 3 children, his pride and joy’s, the loves of his life. He always had plans with them whenever they were in Edmonton, Alberta.Clarence, Alice and Hailey, his babies!
He enjoyed and had a lifelong passion for sports - especially hockey, softball, and golf. He enjoyed countless Edmonton Oilers games surrounded by his many dear friends.
Byron also loved playing bingo, whenever he had the cash, bingo it was and we never knew if he had ever won… haha!!
Having Byron as a brother and a good friend was the greatest gift he could have ever given to all of us. He’s going to be missed so much. He took so much of our hearts with him.
Our Brother, we love you so much. Dad, your kids will forever miss you!!
