Rita Baert passed away at Lloydminster Hospital, Lloydminster, Saskatchewan on November 30, 2025 at the age of 100 years.

Rita is survived by: her son, Moe; daughters-in-law, Wyn and Jeannette; son-in-law, John; grandchildren, Ken (Noelia), Doug (Kristy), Mark (Lyn), Tyler, Owen and Chase (Dana);

step-grandchildren, Chantelle (Ty), Shawn and Kelly (Marilyn); and numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Rita was predeceased by: her husband, Archie; parents, Albert and Julienne; sons, Gerry, Frank, Ron; daughter, Brenda; daughters-in-law, Sheila; brothers, Henri and Leon; and sisters, Loretta "Pearl", and Isabelle.

The Prayer Vigil will be conducted from St. Anthony's Roman Catholic Church, Lloydminster, Alberta at 5:00 PM on Tuesday, December 9th, 2025.

The Mass of Christian Burial for Rita will be conducted from St. Anthony's Roman Catholic Church, Lloydminster, Alberta at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, December 10th, 2025. Donations in memory of Rita may be made to St. Anthony's CWL or donor's charity of choice.
