Gayla Marie Cruikshank passed away at Pioneer Lodge, Lloydminster, Alberta on January 20, 2026 at the age of 77 years.

Gayla is survived by:  loving husband, Richard "Dick"; children, Sherry (Rick) Dyck and Shawn (Abbey) Cruikshank; grandchildren, Kaelyn (Kai), Karly, Liam and Avery; brother, Donald (Shelley) Byrnes;  neice, Nicole Byrnes, extended family and friends.

Gayla was predeceased by: her parents, Francis and Delores Brynes (Huxley).

The Celebration of Life for Gayla will be conducted from the Legacy Centre, Lloydminster, AB on August 7, 2026 at 2:00 PM. 

Donations in memory of Gayla may be made to donor's charity of choice.
