Ethel Donna Thompson passed away at St. Paul's Hospital, Saskatoon, Saskatchewan on January 28, 2026 at the age of 69 years.

Ethel left to cherish in her loving memory: her children, Valentina (Leslie), Vanora (Dwayne), Wilfred Samual (Noella), Marlene and Darlene; son-in-law, Eugene Dufresne; brother, Stewart Thomposon; sister, Alvina Poitras; adopted children, Lisa Thompson, Kelly (Shelly) Muskwa, Cindia (Winston) Johnson, Selina Singer, Tanya Stonechild, Virgina Jimmy, Priscilla Thunder, Millie Thunder, Steven Thunder, Dwayne Horse, Latisha Perkins, and all adopted children that went through her house; favorite nieces, Cindy Carter, Vanessa Opissinow, Delilah Stanley, Jessica Thompson; grandchildren, Danielle, Darnielle, Gabriel, Pheonix, Corbin, Bryson, Kyrah, Zoey, Rebecca, Brandon, Ryder, Kalayn, Eli, Tomas, Ally; 3 great grandchildren, Vanetta, Joyce and Kohen.

Ethel was predeceased by: her loving husband of 53 years, Wilfred Opissionow; daughter, Veronica Thompson; parents, Samuel and Christine Thompson; brothers, Howie, Johas Ira, Nelson, Otto, Dennis, Ron, Hubert and James Thompson; sisters, Catherine Mantee and Sarah Thunder.
