Joyce Ann Pinske passed away at Lloydminster, Alberta on January 29, 2026 at the age of 76 years.

Joyce is survived by: her loving husband, Ron; 3 daughters, Brenda Gislason (Terry Murray), Carrie (Shaun) Payne and Liza (Dean) Carswell, all of Lloydminster; her grandchildren and great grandchildren, Kristopher Gislason (Alex) and their children Paisley, Ezra, Kohen and Elly of Shaunavon, SK;  Kyra McNeil (Leif Kennedy) and their children, Cooper, Jemma, Elara & Nora of Lloydminster;  Ryley McNeil (Kiana Scarf) of Lloydminster; Mason DeVos-Payne (Kaitlyn Norberg) of Theodore, SK;  Ashley Musselman (Matt) and their children, Hank, Lucy, Oscar of Edmonton;  Taylor Carswell (Carissa) and their children, Natalie and Wesley of Lloydminster;  Scout Carswell (Louis Schaefer) of Saskatoon;  Matthew Carswell (Emely Vega) of Lloydminster; Alice Carswell and her son, Adrian of Lloydminster; Kirubel Carswell, of Lloydminster; Travis Carswell of Turtleford, Sk; brother, Gordon (Martha) Saunders of North Battleford; sisters-in-law, Verna Saunders, Pat Pinske, Lynn Tetz (Cliff James) and Sandra (Gary) Mallett; brothers-in-law, Garry Pinske, and Terry Pinske; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Joyce is predeceased by: her parents, Dougall & Evelyn Saunders; siblings, Hazel (Heiner) Schultz, June (Werner) Schultz, Ida Hanley and Richard Saunders; son-in-law, David Gislason; nephews, Perry Hanley, Herman Schultz and Herbie Schultz; niece, Lori Malo; grandson, Dawson Carswell;  mother-in-law and father-in-law, Albert and Florence Pinske; sister-in-law, Alaine Pinske; brothers-in-law, Dennis Pinske and Merv Tetz.  

The Funeral Service for Joyce will be conducted from Salvation Army Church, Lloydminster, AB on Saturday, February 7, 2026 at 11:00 AM with interment to follow at Marwayne Cemetery.  If you are unable to attend in person, you may view the live streaming of the service posted on McCaw Funeral Service website under Joyce’s obituary.  

Please join the family from 2-4 pm at the Kinsmen Hall (5622 - 50th Avenue) for lunch and fellowship. 

Joyce loved to cook.  The bigger the gathering, the happier she was.  She hosted many Christmas functions at her house and catered for many family weddings.  It was a challenge for her to learn to cook for the two of them after their children left home.  She had three daughters, but she was known as mom to many.  She loved her family and was always a great support and listening ear.  She is deeply loved and will be greatly missed.
