Gordon Robert Brown passed away at Lloydminster Hospital, Lloydminster, SK with family by his side on February 16, 2026 at the age of 89 years.

Gordon leaves behind to mourn: son, Wayne (Jane) Brown; daughter, Sheila (Darren) Schneider; five grandsons, Jaison Schneider, Brandon (Ashley) Schneider, Catlin (Ashley) Schneider, John Brown and James Brown;  nine great-grandchildren, Bohdi, Blake, Knightley, Hudson, Romee, Sivan, Crosby, Lennon and Teague; sisters and brothers in-law, Shirley (Ken) Abrams, Lorna (Dave) Elaschuk, Kim Emerson and Barry King; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Gordon was predeceased by: his wife of 63 years, Margaret; daughter, Margaret; granddaughter, Brittany; granddaughter-in-law, Crystal; parents, Jack & Gladys Brown; mother & father-in-Law, John & Florence Emerson; sister, Joan King; sisters and brothers-in-law, Flo (Jim) Brown, Jean (Bill) Walden, Dot (Mel) Fisk, Betty (Don) Shelton, Sid (Marj) Emerson, Robert Emerson, James Emerson and Don Emerson.

Gordon’s memory will forever live on in the hearts of his family and will be deeply missed by many especially in the farming community.

The Celebration of Life for Gordon will be conducted from the Legacy Centre, Lloydminster, AB on Friday, February 27, 2026 at 2:00 PM.
