Maye Paranteau " Muriel Knudsen" passed away at Dr. Cooke Extended Care Centre, Lloydminster, Alberta on February 18, 2026 at the age of 79 years.

Maye is survived by: her children, Dawn Knudsen, Crystal Knudsen, Herb Paranteau, Brent Paranteau, Arnold Paranteau (Crystal Lennie), Shannon Paranteau (Sheldon Fletcher), Angel Paranteau (James Berrymen); 32 grandchildren; great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren; friends, Alice "Ali" Misener, Richard and Barb Klinger; and numerous extended family and friends.

Maye was predeceased by: her father, Samuel Knudsen; mother, Sophia Cardinal; grandmother, Adelyne Knudsen; husband, Arthur Paranteau; son, Travis Paranteau; and grandson, Justice Baptiste.
