It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Duncan Byng McLeod. Duncan was born February 6, 1955, Edmonton, AB and passed away on February 26, 2026, Lloydminster, AB.

Duncan is lovingly remembered by: his sons, Dylan (Shay Buffalo) and Jordan; grandchildren, Brooke, Liam, Kyrah and Oliver; sister, Norene Tchir (Bob); brother-in-law, Peter O’Toole (Brenda); sisters-in-law, Catherine Watts (Doug), Margaret Solyom (Les) and Shirley O’Toole (Martin); many cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; two special friends, Jules Norquest and Brad Halls; and Mischief, of course.

Duncan was pre-deceased by: his loving wife, Mary; and mother, Pearle.

He and Mary enjoyed camping and often did while exploring Europe. On a trip to Duncan's beloved Scotland, the boys joined them for a very special holiday. The family also loved skiing, kayaking and boating. His favorite camping spot was Jasper, AB.

Though his family mourns his loss, they take comfort in knowing he will be reunited with Mary.

A Celebration of Life for Duncan will be conducted from Legacy Centre, Lloydminster, AB on Friday, April 17, 2026 at 2:00 PM.
