Vernon (Vern) Albert Higgins, cherished husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and friend of Maidstone, passed away on March 6, 2026 at the age of 75 years.

Vern was born in Maidstone, SK to John and Emma Higgins on November 26, 1950.

Vern is survived by: his loving wife, Donna; three children, Lee (Wendy) Higgins, Cora (Forrest) Lambkin and Kelly (Carmela) Higgins; grandchildren, Jaime, Cole, Wyatt, Kaitlyn, Breanna and Damarco; great-grandchildren, Esei and Torin; siblings, John, Marilyn, Norma, Harold, Ken, Marvin and Kevin; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Vern is predeceased by: his parents, John and Emma Higgins.

The Funeral Service for Vern will be conducted from Legion Hall, Maidstone, SK on Thursday, March 12, 2026 at 1:00 PM.

Donations in memory of Vern may be made to Maidstone Grace Community Church.
