Violet “Vi” Blanche George nee Spenst, passed away at Riverside Health Complex in Turtleford, SK on March 25, 2026 at the age of 91 years.

Violet is survived by her loving children,

Sheila (Lyle) McKee: and their three children, Carmela (Mike) McNinch and their children, Ryland, Kiana and Beckett; Clinton (Kelly), Craig (Lauren), and their children, Carter, Aria and Kate.

Corinne (Bill) Bannerman and their children: Blaire (Trevor) Taves and their children, Sadie and Tori; Doug (Danielle) Bannerman and their children, Jared, Reid and Jace;

Son-in-law, Dave Pierce and Laura‘s children: Brieanna (Greg) Clark, and their children, Brock (Jonah) and their four children, Inga, Roy, Jack, Mavie, Jayden, Ty and Thomas; Kadena (Mark) Chambers, and their children, Brennan, Stryker, Kerrie and Kaelin;

Sister, Loretta Nasby; sisters-in-law, Ruby George, Donna Hall and Bertha (Ted) Otteson; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Violet was predeceased by: her husband, Laurence George; daughter, Laura Pierce; son, Calvin George; brother, Robert “Bob” and his wife Isabelle; brothers-in-law, Vernon Nasby, Charlie George,  Allen (Myrna) George and Gordon (Lee) Hall; parents, Walter and Blanche Spenst; parents-in-law, Charlie and Christine George.

A Private Family Service will be held at a later date.
