Lee Whitford Obituary

Harvey Jr. Lee Whitford passed away in Lloydminster, AB on March 20, 2026 at the age of 51 years.

Lee grew up in rural Alberta and proudly called Marwayne, Alberta his home. He was a simple man who found comfort in the quiet of small-town life, where he felt most at peace. Never one to pass up a good time, especially with the music turned up and surrounded by good company-he always had a story to tell.

Lee faced deep loss throughout his life, losing much of his family far too soon. Despite these hardships, he carried on with strength in his own way.

He leaves behind: his beloved children, Janine and Justin Whitford, who will carry his memory forward; grandson, Hudson Cleary; nieces, Serena and Samantha Davidson; nephews, Grant Davidson and Ralph Suvee; great-nieces, Malaya and Kaliyah Habte; aunt, Vyna Fluney; many cousins; and a dear friend of many years, Tim Bosgra.

Lee was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey and Cora Whitford; brother, Leion Whitford; sisters, Patsy Davidson and Joanne Suvee; nephew, Jamie Suvee; and extended family, Dale, Ray, and Harvey Horness; he is now reunited with them, finally at peace.

“Home again with family where he belongs, resting peacefully in the land he loved.”

Donations in memory of Lee may be made to Thorpe Recovery Centre or donor's charity of choice.
