With love and sadness, we share that our mum, Edna Jeffrey, passed away on April 11, 2026, at the 

age of 96.

Mum was born on January 19, 1930, in Lloydminster Saskatchewan, to Lilian and Edward Campbell and 

grew up on a farm in Rivercourse, Alberta with her sisters, Louise and Pat. She married Ted Jeffrey 

in 1951, and together they raised their 4 children in Marsden, Saskatchewan.

From the very start she was someone who cared deeply about the people around her. She built a life 

centered on family, kindness, and showing up for others in quiet, steady ways. Mum took on many 

roles in her life, but none more important to her than being a mother and grandmother. She was a 

proud volunteer and selflessly devoted her time to the community. She enjoyed quilting, reading, 

doing puzzles, and was happiest when spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Mum is survived by her sister Louise Poppleton, her children; Kathleen O’Reilly, Patricia Jeffrey, 

Eugene Jeffrey (Connie), and Colleen Ransom (Paul); 10 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren. 

She was predeceased by parents, Lilian and Edward Campbell; husband, Ted Jeffrey; sister, Pat 

McAleer; granddaughter, Emma Ransom; and great-grandson Hudson Ransom. She leaves behind a family 

who loves her deeply and will miss her every single day.

Celebration of Life will be held at on August 22, 2026 at 2pm at the Marsden Community Hall, Marsden SK. If you wish, donations may be made in her memory to the United Church of Neilburg, or a charity of your choice.

We will carry her love, her lessons, and her spirit with us always. She will never be forgotten.
