Kayo Howard Thor passed away at University Of Alberta Hospital, Edmonton, AB on April 18, 2026 at the age of 77 years.

Kayo is survived by: his wife Sharon; daughter, Sherry (Art) Tupper; son, Allen (Michelle); grandchildren, Joni (Aaron) Graus, Logan Thor, Shayna Tupper, Marshel (Mykaela) Tupper, Trevor (Bailey) Thor and Gage Tupper; great-grandchildren, Amelia Graus and Stetson Thor; sisters, Karen (Laurence) Syvenky, Elaine Nelson, Ellen (Gerald) Carlson and Donna Thor-Buchanan; and nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Kayo was predeceased by: his parents, Howard and Fern Thor; parents-in-law, Vern and Norma Pope; brother-in-law, Leroy Nelson; and brother, Peter Thor.

A Private Funeral Service will be held in memory of Kayo.
