Melvin Bowden passed away at Pine Island Lodge, Maidstone, Saskatchewan on April 15, 2026 at the age of 92 years.
Melvin worked hard, welcomed company, loved the horses, the races, and a good hand of cards. He lived a life honest and full.
Melvin is survived by: his twin sister, Sylvia Boddy; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Melvin was predeceased by: his parents, Reginald and Ellen; siblings, Peggy, Winnie, Betty, Doreen, Ronnie and Denny; 5 brothers-in-law; and numerous extended family and friends.
The Memorial Service will be held at Border Inn and Suites, Crown Ball Room, on Saturday, May 16, 2026 at 1:00 PM.
Donations in memory of Melvin may be made to Maidstone Health Complex (Pine Island Lodge) or donor's charity of choice.
