It is with heavy hearts, the family of Lyle Anderson announces his passing at Wainwright Hospital on Friday, May 1, 2026 at the age of 81 years surrounded by his family.  

Lyle is survived by: his loving wife of 56 years, Carol Anderson; sons, Shawn (Stacey) and his daughter, Victoria; Jason (Tara) and their children, Autumn (Kyle), Gracie (Chase) and Wrenley Fletcher, Caden (Cadence) and Ryan; daughter, Amy Savage (Jeff) and their children, Mabel and Roger; sisters, Linda (Bill) Christianson and Lois (Neil) Purser; sisters-in-law, Donna Knutson and Maureen (Greg) Davidson; and brother-in-law, Neil Brassington.  

Lyle was predeceased by: his parents, Harry and Ruby Anderson; parents-in-law, Art and Joyce Brassington; as well as brother-in-law, Jim Knutson; and niece, Megan Purser.   

The Celebration of Life will take place at E.H. Walter School, Paradise Valley, AB on Friday, May 15, 2026 at 2:00 PM.  

Donations in memory of Lyle may be made to Paradise Valley Fire Department or Charity of Choice.
