Irene Winnifred Young passed away at Maidstone Health Complex, Maidstone, SK on May 18, 2026 at the age of 88 years.

Irene is survived by her loving husband, Daryl Young; sons, Kevin (Lauri) Young and Kurt Young; daughters, Karen Young and Koralee Young; grandsons, Christopher Young, Justin Young (Lisa), Tyler Young (Morena), Shae Young (Jules) and Matthew Caron; granddaughters, Charise (Adam) Smith and Katelyn Caron (Pierce); great-grandchildren, Hunter Smith, Henry Young, George Young, Ari Young and Autumn Smith; brother, Robert (Ruth) Wolokoff; sisters, Edna (Norman) Boyce and Esther Sawatsky; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Irene is predeceased by her parents, Fred and Lydia Wolokoff.

The family Graveside Service for Irene will be conducted from Maidstone Cemetery and a Memorial Gathering will be held at a later date.
