George Landerl passed away at the Lloydminster Hospital on May 14, 2026, at the age of 88.

George is survived by: his wife, Marilyn Landerl; his sons, Brian, Harvey, and Cory; his sisters, Tillie Loewen and Josie (Dale) Collins; his granddaughters, Samantha (Jesse) Young and Melissa Landerl; and his great-granddaughter, Everly Young. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

George was predeceased: by his parents, Joseph Landerl and Agatha Schwehr; his sisters, Mary (Brian) Graham, Linda Fisher, Madeline Porsnuk and Marlene Landerl; and his brother, Richard Landerl.

A Celebration of George’s Life will be held at a later date.
