Donovan Karl Schmidt passed away in Lloydminster, SK on July 6, 2026 at the age of 42 years.
Donovan is survived by: his parents, Donna and Karl Schmidt; sister, Amada (Brian) Gavel, and their sons, Ashton Schmidt, Owen Gavel and Dylan Gavel; sister, Adelle (Chris Rosseau) Schmidt, and their son, Nathan Rosseau (Ty Clemence); and lots of aunts, uncles, cousins and all those who will miss him.
Donovan was predeceased by: his maternal grandfather, Alvin Horton; and paternal grandparents, Irma and Henry Schmidt.
A Private Funeral Service will be held in memory of Donovan.
Donations in memory of Donovan may be made to Thorpe Recovery Centre or Lloydminster Mental Health Hub.
