Rhonda Ann Smith passed away at Lloydminster Hospital, Lloydminster, Saskatchewan on July 20, 2026 at the age of 68 years.

Rhonda is survived by: her children, Megan MacDonald, Kate MacDonald (Ryan Hunter) and Mike MacDonald (Melissa Rehbein); grandchildren who she loved more than anything, James, Mark, Caybree, Easton and Sutton; siblings, Brenda Peacock, Rik Smith and Jim Smith (Dave Gardiner); as well as many nieces, nephews and great friends.

Rhonda was predeceased by: her parents, Ron and Ann Smith; and brother-in-law, Marty Peacock.

Rhonda found joy in the simple and meaningful moments of life. She had a passion for crafting and spent countless hours creating keepsakes, cards and other personalized items for family, friends and charity. Her creativity and attention to detail allowed her to create treasures that will be cherished for generations.

Above all else, Rhonda loved her family. She recently moved to Lloydminster from Cold Lake, AB to be closer to her grandchildren so she could enjoy the small moments such as, park play dates, going for ice cream and most importantly, being there to watch them grow.

The family would like to send a special thank you to the Palliative Care Unit at Lloydminster Hospital for their care and compassion. 

As per Rhonda's wishes, cremation will take place and no public service will be held at this time. 

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations in Rhonda’s memory be made to Crop Haven, the crafting club that brought her so much joy and held a special place in her heart.
