Obituary of Jeff Colson

COLSON ~ Jeffrey William Colson passed away in Edmonton, Alberta on Tuesday, April 16, 2013 at the age of 52 years. Jeff leaves to mourn: his loving wife, Cheryl Colson; two children, T.J. (Carolyn) Eagles and Corey (Sarah) Eagles; four grandchildren: Kennedy, Madison, Emily and Vaugn; father, Fred Colson; two brothers, Tom (Deborah) Colson and Brad (Karen) Colson: sister-in-law, Marlene Johnson and family, Michael Johnson and daughter Anna Bay, Jennifer (Rob) Hancock and son's Mathew and Sam, David (Leanne) Johnson and son Leo, Katie (Brad) Currie and children Lila and Hugh; sister-in-law, Deb (Dean) MacArthur and family, Kristin MacArthur, Clarke (Jessica) MacArthur and daughter Emory; brother-in-law, Jim (Marilyn) Donald and family, Michelle (Adam) Hickman and children Abigail, Brady, Joey, Andrew Donald; sister-in-law, Barb (Bill) Liscombe and daughter Bailie; sister-in-law, Laurie Fournier (Ric Griffith) and children Chantal and Zachery and numerous other relatives. Jeff was predeceased by his mother, C.J. Colson; and brother, Jim Colson. The Memorial Service for Jeff was conducted from McCaw Funeral Chapel, Lloydminster, Alberta on Tuesday, April 23, 2013 at 10:00 A.M. with Deb MacArthur officiating. The luncheon was held in the Seniors Drop-in Centre, Lashburn, Saskatchewan. Donations in memory of Jeff may be made to the Canadian Liver Foundation. McCaw Funeral Service Ltd., of Lloydminster, Alberta administered the funeral arrangements. Card of Thanks The family of Jeff Colson would like to thank Dr. Chapelski, the nurses and staff at the Lloydminster Hospital, University of Alberta Hospital and the ambulance attendants for the care given to Jeff. Thank you to Dean Wenzel and the staff at McCaw Funeral Service for their help in arranging the service. They would also like to thank everyone for the sympathy cards, flowers, food, visits, phone calls and donations made in Jeff's memory.
