Edith Joan Ollen passed away at Dr. Cooke Extended Care Centre, Lloydminster, Alberta on Saturday, November 30, 2013 at the age of 91 years.
Joan is survived by: 1 brother: Noel Light; 3 sons: Dave (Trish), Gary (Karen), Raymond (Joan); 10 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren: Kerrie (Heather Mosimann), Jamie (Kim Greencorn), Tasha
(Ben) Klatt, Trevor (Rachel Millar) and son Lawson, Lindsay (Tyler) Sedgwick, Terri (Justin) Tindall and 3 children Dane, Rose & Adam, Brad (Melanie Couture), Janet (Demian) Medina and daughter Abi, Jenny (Regan Schell), Becky (Jeff McColm), sister-in-law, Sandra Hoekstra; and several nieces and nephews.
Joan was predeceased by her husband, Florian; brother, Ted Light; sisters, Mary Anderson-Curtis and Betty Gould.
Donations in memory of Joan may be made to the Dr. Cooke Patient Comfort Fund or to a charity of the donor's choice.
