Obituary of Vernon Graham

GRAHAM ~ Vernon Archibald Graham passed away at the Lloydminster Hospital on Monday, December 16, 2013 at the age of 94 years. Vernon Graham leaves to mourn his passing: his loving wife, Barbara Graham of Lloydminster, Alberta; two children: Lyndon & Nadine Graham of Sturgeon County, Alberta and Shirley & Bill Jamieson of Edmonton, Alberta; daughter-in-law, Myrna Graham of Marsden, Saskatchewan; 3 Grandchildren: Bob Graham of Calgary, Alberta, Phebe & Les Eglauer of St. Albert, Alberta and Kenneth Jamieson of Edmonton, Alberta; 4 Great-Grandchildren: Mallory, Bronwyn, Oliver and Charlotte Eglauer; brother, Charlie & Irene Graham of Edmonton, Alberta; and sister: Myrtle Holmedal of Lloydminster, Alberta as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Vernon was predeceased by his son, Larry Graham; brother, George Graham; and sisters: Gladys Sirrs, Dorothy Thorsen, Eileen Dow and Eleanor Cooper. The Memorial Service for Vernon was conducted from Marsden Community Hall, Marsden, Saskatchewan on Friday, December 20, 2013 at 2:30 P.M. with Pastor Ken MacDonald officiating. The eulogy was given by Nadine Graham. The hymns were accompanied by organist and soloist Cliff Scott. Interment was held in the Normanna Cemetery near Marsden, Saskatchewan. Donations in memory of Vernon may be made to the Manitou Bible Camp or to a Charity of the Donor's Choice McCaw Funeral Service Ltd., of Lloydminster, Alberta administered the funeral arrangements. We gratefully appreciate the wonderful service of remembrance given by Pastor Ken MacDonald, the music and solo by Cliff Scott, the lunch prepared and provided by the Fram Ladies and to family and friends for the support, cards and donations in Vern's memory. Thank you also to Brett, Joel and Dave McCaw for their thoughtful and caring help.
