WHITFIELD ~ Frederick Morris Whitfield passed away at the Dr. Cooke Extended Care Centre, Lloydminster, Alberta on Monday, January 27 at the age of 90 years. Morris leaves to mourn his passing his loving wife, Avery Whitfield; son, Eric Whitfield and his wife Debbie; two grandchildren: Stephanie Midgley and her husband Dale and Ryan Whitfield; and two great-grandchildren: Cydney and Austin Midgley. The Funeral Service for Morris was conducted from St. John's Anglican Church, Lloydminster, Saskatchewan on Tuesday, February 4, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. with Reverend Canon Michael Stonhouse officiating. The hymn sung was " Bringing in The Sheaves" accompanied by organist Pat Skinner. The active pallbearers were Gerry Popowich, Dennis Zicker, Phil Kelly, Roy Graham, David Inge and Scott Inge. Interment was held in the Streamstown Cemetery. Donations in memory of Morris Whitfield may be made to the Dr. Cooke Extended Care Centre, The Canadian Diabetes Association or to a Charity of the Donor's Choice. McCaw Funeral Service Ltd., of Lloydminster, Alberta administered the funeral arrangements. Card of Thanks The family of the late Morris Whitfield would like to thank Dr. Chan and the staff at the Dr. Cooke Extended Care Centre for taking care of Morris. We would also like to thank Reverend Michael Stonhouse for officiating the service, Pat Skinner for the beautiful music and the Anglican Church ladies for providing the delicious lunch.
