Obituary of Olive Mais

Please share a memory of Olive to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
MAIS ~ Olive was born and raised north of Maidstone, Saskatchewan in the Milleton Community. Her parents were J.W. and Bertha Lundell. Olive was predeceased by her husband, Monty; one brother, Herbert Lundell; sisters, Mildred (Harold) Cross and Mabel (Harold) McLaren; and sister-in-law, Norma (Julian) Lundell. Olive is survived by brothers, Wilbert (Juliette) Lundell and Julian (Margot) Lundell; sister-in-law, Joy Lundell and numerous nieces and nephews. After her school years, Olive trained as a nurse and was happy in that profession for a few years. However, the spiritual side of her nature came to the fore, and she became a full-time evangelizer of Jehovah's Witnesses in 1945. She has continued as such until her death, never missing an opportunity to share her Bible-based beliefs to anyone who would listen. During her marriage to Monty they served as traveling representatives of the Watchtower Society in many areas of Canada. When Monty's health failed, they settled in B.C. and continued there until further health problems led them to a quieter life in Lloydminster. Olive always kept "My Monty" very close to her heart and looked forward to the resurrection to Paradise on earth. Card of Thanks The family would like to sincerely thank all the many people who have cared for Olive during her years at the Jubilee Home, the Doctors and medical staff, care aids, laundry and cleaning staff. Thanks to the many friends who have visited from both Lloydminster congregations of Jehovah's Witnesses, some with acts of kindness, but all with love. Lastly, Thank you McCaw Funeral Service Ltd. for their compassionate and caring service to our community. The Lundell and Mais families
