WILLIAMS ~ Wesley James Williams passed away at the Lloydminster Hospital on Wednesday, June 4, 2014 at the age of 82 years. Wesley was born in Lloydminster, Saskatchewan on October 11, 1931 to Magdelena and Louis Williams. Wes leaves to mourn his loving wife of 56 years, Helen; three children: Roy Williams, Grace Ferguson and friend Paul, Norma (Dale) Jackson; four grandchildren: Mike (Hayley), Chris (Kendra), Cody and Skye; seven great grandchildren: Jayden, Ryley, Reese, Easton, Janessa, Jordyn and Jace; one brother, Rusty Williams; two sisters: Donalda Williams and Donnona Wright and numerous other relatives. The Memorial Service for Wes was conducted from McCaw Funeral Chapel, Lloydminster, Alberta on Friday, June 6, 2014 at 10:00 A.M. with Joyce Dickson officiating. Skye Ferguson gave the eulogy. Special CD music, "Now and Then" by Don Williams, "Green, Green Grass of Home" by Tom Jones and "The Gambler" by Kenny Rogers were played during the service. The honorary pallbearers were all of his friends and family. The urn bearers were his four grandchildren. Interment was held in the Lloydminster City Cemetery, Lloydminster, Saskatchewan. The reception followed in the Moose Lodge, Lloydminster, Alberta. Donations in memory of Wes may be made to Lloydminster Palliative Care or to a charity of the donors choice. McCaw Funeral Service Ltd., of Lloydminster, Alberta administered the funeral arrangements. Card of Thanks Thank you to the Doctors and third floor Nurses at Lloydminster Hospital and to Brenda Servold and the nurses in Palliative Care for your caring and compassion. Thank you to all our family and friends for food, visits, phone calls, flowers, cards, donations and for just being there for our family. To the Moose Lodge for the use of the hall and to the women of the Moose for the lunch they provided it was greatly appreciated. Thank you to Joyce Dickson for the lovely service and to Joel and Dave McCaw for your caring, kindness, professionalism and friendship in our time of need. Helen, Roy, Grace, Norma and families
