Obituary of Trenton Millen

Please share a memory of Trenton to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
This tale of two cities brings people from Lloydminster and Regina together to remember Trent. His family sadly announces he lost his one year, to the day, battle with cancer on November 18th. Trent leaves to remember him his sweet love LaRhee Wehr, mother Joan Millen-Schick, (Harvey), father Gerry Millen (Susan), Grandmother Margaret Goldstone, sisters Sherice Smith (Kevin) and Wendy Priekchat (Craig), brother Russell Schick and loved ones Lindsay (Trevor), Jaymen (Marissa), Kendra, Landen, Shennay (Spencer), Matthew (Sabrina), Danny, Tabatha, Lacey (Matt), Bret and Harli, many loved grandchildren, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Trent will be remembered and loved by his friends and family for many different reasons: his smile, quiet spirit, his ability to think outside the box; which is why he was often known as MacGyver. He never complained “we’ll just take it a day at a time” and so … we will do the same now. The family thanks Dr. Steyl, along with the nursing and support staff at the Lloydminster hospital for their attentiveness, compassion and supportive care they provided to Trent and family during his journey. Funeral Service Celebrating his life will be held in Regina at Westhill Park Baptist Church, 8023 Sherwood Drive on Friday, November 25 at 1:00 PM. For those unable to attend the service, a live internet viewing may be available at “westhillchurch.com”. A Celebration of Life will be held in Lloydminster, SK at the Centennial Civic Centre Auditorium, 2nd floor, 5405 49th Ave. on Wednesday, November 30th at 2:00 PM. A private family interment to be determined. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Lloydminster Hospital Palliative Care.
