Teira was an absolute inspiration! Teira's zest to live life to the fullest right down to the end is a testament to her grit, love for life and commitment to those she loved the most, her family. Brenda and I count ourselves as blessed to have had the opportunity to count Teira as a friend and a colleague. Teira will certainly be missed, but never forgotten!

My deepest sympathies to the Noble and Thomson families. I had the privilege of going to school with Teira, pretty much since elementary school I think. We competed against each other and as team mates for almost every sport. Teira was a natural born leader and captain. She was compassionate, confident and motivated to get better at everything she did. She made me a better athlete and a better person. I am confident she took these personal traits and passed them on to all the kids she taught.
But besides all this, she had some stellar dance moves...remember her cross over step to "Walking on Sunshine" ?! I see those moves every time I hear that song:)
A lovely soul was taken from us too soon, I hope you are "Walking on Sunshine" now and we will play catch again one day.

Teira was a testimony to how a positive attitude and being competitive can give cancer a run for its money.
She lived her life to the fullest.
Certainly have a heavy heart for all of her family, friends, and colleagues. She will be missed.

When I lost my husband Kelly 12 years ago, my dear friend Teira sent the most beautiful message to our family and yet at this time of her passing I can’t seem to come up with the words I feel in my heart. We have known each other for 50 years, that in itself seems unbelievable but it’s true. She will always be remembered as a beautiful, strong, intelligent & athletic woman, whose smile could light up a room. I’ll miss you Teira Lee ❤️

I met Teira ‘Willie’ through her Aunty Sandra when Tiera was in her teens. I got to know her through Sandra as we watched many of Teira’s games and at a few family gatherings. And maybe the occasional outing to the local pubs. :) Once Teira became a momma, I took care of little Clarkie in our home. Right up until Brette was born. I can only imagine how hard she fought to stay here with her family, and I can only imagine your heartbreak when she had to go. I know she will be deeply missed by those who loved her…and there were many. My condolences to you all….

She was a dedicated teacher and loved her students. We had so much fun together laughing and always playing pranks on each other and even had the students involved which they loved. We are so sorry to hear of Teira’s passing. She was such a welcoming teacher at RP when I subbed there. She was so helpful guiding us subs around the many hallways. I subbed in her classroom and felt a positive vibe when I entered her room. I noticed at recess times she was always in her classroom helping or just chatting with students. She was very compassionate to their needs. This spring we crossed paths in Home Hardware where she informed me of her fabulous trip she and her mom had taken. She was there picking out flowers to plant since they missed the prime planting season. I asked how her kids were doing. she proudly filled me in on where they were in their career. I told her how when doing a maternity leave at Martin Browne we had talent shows and Clark was famous for doing magic tricks and telling jokes. We had a good laugh about that. When I asked her how she was doing, she smiled and said she was doing fine! Such a strong willed lady! RIP Teira! You will truly be missed.

Dear Kathy, Roy, Glen, Warren,and family,
Teira sure shone brightly through her sports. I had the privilege of getting to know Teira through the Lloydminster Ladies Basketball League way back in the late 80’s. Not only was Teira a competitive, fierce and a great player; more importantly, she was a team player with great sportsmanship! She was a friend to all of us; it just didn’t matter what team you were on! She was a star.
Following Teira on facebook on her recent European trip with her Mom and trips with her special friends, was priceless, to say the least. I couldn’t wait to see what they were up to, where they were at, and what Teira was going to say about each and every adventure. It was so fun to read, and she made you feel like you were right there with them.
It was heartbreaking and so sad to lose someone like Teira. Way too young! But boy, did she make a difference to so many lives, in the short time she was here.

Blessed to have had the opportunity to coach Teira over two memorable softball seasons. Teira was one of those "glue" players that held the team together in both good times and when things got tough. A great athlete, beautiful person and someone who always managed to say the right things at the right time. A sense of humour like no other. I am so grateful also for how Teira mentored my daughter Chantel when she took her first teaching job in Lloydminster. She welcomed her to the teaching community and gave unselfishly of herself to make Chantel's start in teaching a successful one.
My thoughts and prayers are with all her family, friends and colleagues. She will by missed by so many.

Condolences to entire family on the passing on Teira. I loved coaching this young gal back in 1985 and 1986 with our beloved Lloydminster Midget AAA Blues softball team. She worked hard, laughed lots and encouraged all her teammates. She was good and became an all star at National Championships. We stayed connected over the years and now I say I've lost a good friend. Thanks Willy for the wonderful travel stories you posted on Facebook as I followed each day your journey. Blessing that you enjoyed those last few years traveling with family and friends - well lived! Rest easy my friend!

I am so saddened to hear of Teira’s passing. She will forever be with me in my teaching career as my first mentor and friend in my first year of teaching. Whether it be playing rec basketball to have some fun in the evening or coaching me through tough days with the kids- she was a champion for me. I enjoyed watching her travels these last months on Facebook and how she continued to live life to the fullest right up until her last days. A wonderful life cut way too short.
