Obituary of Anne Munro

Anne Munro passed away peacefully on November 6, 2023 at Dr. Cooke Continuing Care facility in Lloydminster, Alberta at the age of  101.

Anne  was born on March 15, 1922 on the farm near Wood Mountain, SK to Dan Ciocia and Anne (Jacobs) Ciocia.

Anne and her husband Art Schau moved to Lloydminster in 1963 where they built and operated the first A & W Drive In in the city.

Anne is survived by her 3 daughters - Jerri (Clayton) Flynn, Granddaughter Cindy (Darron) Lawrence and their daughters Cheyenne and Savannah; Granddaughter Tracy (Darrel) Hardes and their daughters Chantelle and Taylor; Grandson Derek (Terena) Martin and their son Chase; Beverly (Gordon) Harris, Granddaughter Sherri Ann (Evan) Stephens and their daughters Amy (Michael) Kuziak, Mira (Keeghan) McLennan; Grandson Craig (Rebecca) Harris and their son Oscar; Debbie (Lionel) Morin, Grandson Jason Morin, Grandson Christopher (Lisa) Morin and their sons Jack and Grant; one sister Eve Sarjeant.

Anne was predeceased by her first husband Mike Lupick, her husband Art Schau in 1979, and by her husband Max Munro in 2003.  She was also predeceased by 4 brothers and 3 sisters.

The Funeral Service for Anne Munro will be conducted from Grace United Church, Lloydminster, Alberta, on Thursday, November 16, 2023 at 2:00 PM.
