Reg Hoegl

Obituary of Reg Hoegl

Reginald "Reg" Anthony Hoegl was doing something he loved under a warm Mexican sun, when nature, something that he was so seamlessly a part of, something he loved and respected, suddenly took him from us. On Tuesday February 27th, Reg departed this world. His smile, warmth and presence will be greatly missed by all those who loved and knew him - especially us, his children and grandchildren.

Reg is survived by: his children, Jonas (Renée), Marah (Jeff), Ava (Joel) and Daria (Brett); grandchildren, Clara, Eleanor, AJ (Alphonse Jonas), Jack, Harry, Tilly (Matilda) George, Agnes, Archibald and Josephine; siblings, Lorraine Hoegl, Merle Hoegl and Mark (Maurika) Hoegl; nieces and nephews, Crystal Baillie (Trent), Kaimoon Hoegl, Mikaela Hoegl and Paul (Dawn) and their family, Matthew, Ben and Jeffery; sister-in-law, Mona Laxdal; closest of friends, Jen Bausa; and numerous other relatives.

Reg was predeceased by: mother to his children, Wanda Hoegl; parents, Alf and Tillie Hoegl; and sister-in-law, (Marcella).

Music was a beautiful part of Reg’s being.  Here is a playlist of songs that he enjoyed at different times of his life as well as songs that simply remind us of him.

Please breathe deep and enjoy the melodies.

“Anytime you are afraid or scared, you can give it all to Jesus or God - I truly believe it is a beneficial thing - I have done it many times. Give it up to God! There is power even in just saying His name.

Bless you.”       -Reg Hoegl
