Lionel Victor Courtenay of McBride, B.C, formerly of Lloydminster, peacefully passed away at his home in McBride on Sunday, May 28, 2023 at the age of 65 years.
Lionel is survived by his family: Shawn Bexson, Kris (Hannah) Bexson, Derrick (Kirsten) Lyonnaise, Cody (Kelly) Courtenay, James Courtenay, Adam (Laura) Courtenay, Melissa (Steve) Guy, Jennifer (Joe) Smith; 21 grandchildren, and brothers, Dan Courtenay and Ted (Zoni) Courtenay; as well as numerous other relatives.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ed and Elsie Courtenay; sister, Isabel (Lem) Burns; and other relatives.
A private family memorial will be held.
